With the objective of imparting quality education to the children belonging to the weaker section of the society at large, Ghaysiban College has been started at Kshavnagar, Sitapur Road, Lucknow. The college aims at all around developement of the students and preparing them to cope with the competitive environment.

Ghayasiban Engineering Software Development

1. Pant Nagar University of Agriculture and Technology: This system is towards automating the working of the University. Pant Nagar University is leading university with more than 5000 resident student community. The system being developed takes care of the student enrolment and fee collection, financial accounting, payroll, taxation, budgeting, examination system etc. These functions have been developed module wise and can work as stand alone systems also. This architecture has ensured addition of any future functionality whenever required in the future. The whole system is running in a LAN environment with more than 60 users as of now spread over the whole campus. This system caters to typically what is required by the educational institutes of high learning. This system has been developed on Oracle8i and Developer2000 under Windows environment with industry standard client server architecture. Cost of this project is Rs. 1.6 million.


2. Lucknow Development Authority: LDA (Lucknow Development Authority) is a Govt. agency entrusted with the responsibility of controlled developing the city of Lucknow. Their main area of operation is towards creating new housing colonies and keeping track of the old properties. As the city of Lucknow is having a population of over 2 million , property management is a huge task for LDA. This was done through a software solution developed for Property Management. This solution has also been developed module wise. Module for property acquisition keeps the information about Govt. notifications for land acquisition, compensation to land owner disputes etc. Civil development module keeps track of the various developmental projects and their various stages. Similarly sale module handles various developed properties and their sale to individual allottees and payments made by them. The software also keeps track the status of the registration through the Govt. body of the sold properties. This system runs on Oracle8i with client developed in Power Builder in a LAN environment having more than 60 users. Cost of this solution is Rs. 1.5 million.


3. Indian Airlines: The reservation system or the Indian Airlines is done online with the help of a central mainframe Unisys computer. Unisys Corporation of USA has provided the main application. Unisys has been a leader in on line reservation software system. This application is capable of controlling several terminals through dedicated digital communication lines. We designed and supplied the networking solution, which included hardware as well as the required software. This solution required network terminal concentrators (including statistical multiplexers), demand terminals, printer drivers for ticketing and report generation etc. Almost half of the Indian Airlines network was implemented on our platform. This utilized local modems, leased lines etc for remote connectivity. The total cost for this project was in excess of 60 million rupees and it was implemented over a period of 2 years.


4. Steel Authority of India – Bokaro plant: Steel Authority of India is a leading producer of the steel in the country. They had a requirement for the automation of their steel mill at Bokaro as the old instrumentation was not up to mark. We had been contracted for this turnkey job as we also had a good technical and commercial collaboration with Leads and Northrop of USA. We supplied the full project to the satisfaction of Steel Authority. Leads and Northrop implemented the system through MAX series PLC designed. The complete engineering, instrumentation and PLC software was done in a record time. The cost of this project was around 70 million rupees.
