accounting, payroll, taxation, budgeting, examination system etc.
These functions have been developed module wise and can work as
stand alone systems also. This architecture has ensured addition
of any future functionality whenever required in the future. The
whole system is running in a LAN environment with more than 60 users
as of now spread over the whole campus. This system caters to typically
what is required by the educational institutes of high learning.
This system has been developed on Oracle8i and Developer2000 under
Windows environment with industry standard client server architecture.
Cost of this project is Rs. 1.6 million.

is done online with the help of a central mainframe Unisys computer.
Unisys Corporation of USA has provided the main application. Unisys
has been a leader in on line reservation software system. This application

communication lines. We designed and supplied the networking solution,
which included hardware as well as the required software. This solution
required network terminal concentrators (including statistical multiplexers),
demand terminals, printer drivers for ticketing and report generation
etc. Almost half of the Indian Airlines network was implemented
on our platform. This utilized local modems, leased lines etc for
remote connectivity. The total cost for this project was in excess
